Tostadas are small corn tortillas that have been deep fried until crispy. Then layered with different ingredients. Actually, tostadas are the authentic mexican version of taco shells and so much easier to eat.
This delicious recipe uses either pulled pork or chicken marinated and braised in achiote paste and orange juice. Follow the Cochinita Pibil recipe for the meat.
Then, set all the ingredients on the table and let your guests prepare their own tostada. Kids love it!

- Place each ingredient in different containers and set on the table.
- Build the tostadas starting with the refried beans and pork meat.
- Top with the sliced onion, habanero peppers and salsa of your choice.
