Agave syrup is made from the sap of the agave plant which is then boiled down to reach a syrup consistency. It is a low-GI syrup with a delicate caramel taste which enhances the flavour of most baked goods. It is also great for adding sweetness to drinks and desserts.
Serve with pancakes, churros and sopapillas, or use it to sweeten your home-made agua fresca.
