Limes are one of the most iconic ingredient in Mexican cooking, not lemons. As limes have a much more concentrated citrus punch.
It is super simple to use: open it up, place a halve lime cut side down and squeeze the juice wherever you need it; either directly over the food, into a bowl or measuring cup. It’s long handles will give the leverage needed to extract all the juice and its perforated bottom will strain the juice from the pulp and seeds.
