Corn Husks for Wrapping Tamales

Tamales are a mixture of masa dough and variuos savoury fillings like chicken, beef, pork, beans, cheese etc.; spread on a Corn Husk and then wrapped and steamed. There are different sizes, shapes and tastes of tamales, even sweet ones. They are often served as a meal on their own or in a roll as street food or on festive occasions.
To wrap tamales in corn husks, the husks need to be soaked in cold water to make them soft and pliable before applying the filling.
