Green Enchilada Sauce:
Sold individually in 420g cans – (12 cans come in a case)
This earthy and spicy sauce is made with green tomatillo, onion, garlic, coriander and spices. Use as topping for enchiladas and cooking meat dishes.
Enchiladas can be made from either corn or wheat tortillas. A little filling is laid in the centre of the tortilla and then rolled to make a tube – like a cannelloni. The filled tortillas are laid side-by-side in a baking dish before topping with the enchilada sauce and baked in the oven.
Refrigerate the sauce after opening – in a sealed container – and use within 4 weeks.
