Pozole is a traditional Mexican soup. Filled with cooked maize kernals, meat (typically pork) and chilli – it is a real comfort food. Pozole is usually served with shredded lettuce or cabbage, extra chilli and herbs, sliced onion, radishes, limes and maybe some avocado on the side for each person to garnish their bowl to their taste.
This pozole is made with pork, various red chillies and cacahuaxintle corn which is the traditional corn varietal used for this dish.
Refrigerate after opening and use within a week of opening.
