Dear Amigos,
Every year, I smile when friends and family in Mexico tell me how they’re enjoying the summer sunshine while, here in South Africa, we’re reaching for warm blankets and comforting meals. That’s the beauty of living in the Southern Hemisphere—our winter arrives in July!
As a Mexican living in South Africa for over 30 years, one of my greatest joys has been sharing the flavours, traditions and warmth of my homeland with you through Azteca. Since 1997, our family has been passionate about bringing authentic Mexican products to South African homes and every winter I’m reminded how Mexican food has a wonderful way of bringing people together around the table.
